Max J. Pollack acquired his first insurance broker's license in 1936, and operated his business from his home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
As his business grew, he opened a commercial store front in Red Hook, Brooklyn, serving the local residents. As time passed and residents moved out of the neighborhood, Max’s business expanded to include many generations, comprised of original clients as well as ever-increasing client referrals. Eventually, Max’s son and then his grandson joined the business, carrying on the tradition.
And they’re all still here.
Over 70 years later, we’re in the same location and serving the greater New York area. We believe that the long-term, ongoing success of our company is a combination of extensive insurance industry knowledge, coupled with something you don’t see too often in today’s world: old-fashioned, personalized service.
That’s the kind of service that existed in 1936, and it’s the kind we still deliver today. |
